I see my role as manager of the Australian world spearfishing team, to be one of achieving the rightful status of our country in the eyes of the international spearfishing community. I also see my role as one of raising the profile of spearfishing in Australia. I believe the way to achieve these aims is to assist the team in every way possible to ensure they perform to their true potential. As an active spearfisherman myself, I will assist them by managing and assisting with scouting during the forthcoming World Title campaign in Portugal.

More -I will in future be encouraging junior and novice spearfishermen. I'd like to introduce youth in particular into the underwater world, which I a have been lucky to have opportunities to appreciate.
