As the Victorian State Chair (since June 2006) I hope to raise the profile of the Southern Freedivers, the AUF and of spearfishing in general around Victoria. Through increased awareness and education of both boat owners and divers I want to increase the level of safety in our sport. To safeguard our future I will promote sustainable spearfishing practices and act on behalf of divers on MPA and fisheries regulation issues.

More -I've been a member of the Southern Freedivers for about 8 years. Apart from the Victorian Spearfishing Challenge I don't dive comps any more but enjoy the social side of the club. I have dived mostly around Victoria's Western District, but go to NSW regularly and have dived a few Pacific Islands and New Zealand.
